Stewart LaNeal Lawrence, 81 of Brazoria formerly of Sargent passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Brazoria. He was born on March 24, 1937 in Atlanta, Texas to Joseph Harrey Lawrence and Grace D. Nelson.

 He loved his family dearly and his wife was the love of his life. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie; daughter, Sandra Dee Horton; great grandchildren, Scott Frazer, Jr. and Morgan Lee Crane; brothers, Frank, Chester and Leon Lawrence and sister, Barbara L.

Neal leaves to cherish his precious memories; daughters, Debra Lee VanPelt and husband Raymond of Port Arthur and Tina Monae Magana and husband Ugene of California; sisters, Wyhona Britt, Martha Porichek, Charlotte Hudson, Ruth Adams and Laverne Landrum; sister-in-law, Nina Mae Yarborough(L.C.); grandchildren, William Crane and wife Mercie, Keith Crane, Kandice Crane, Rick Decamera and wife Robby, Jesse Magana, Alex Magana, Preston Keller, Tosha Harper and husband Jesse and Sarah Gilmore and husband Cory, 23 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Leroy Horton, Jr., William Crane, Jesse Harper, Cory Gilmore, David Henson and Mayson Cook.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.

Funeral service will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Brumbelow officiating. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
