Funeral services for Rosie Bell Green, 90, of Clute will be Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Church of Christ, 805 W. 5th Street, Freeport, Texas with Brother Lawrence Richo officiating. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

She passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her residence.

Rosie loved going to church, reading her bible and taking care of children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.E. and Delilah Thompson; husband, Jerry Green, Sr. and 9 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; sons, Michael Green and Stanley Green, both of Angleton, Jerry Green, Jr. (Carrie), Brazoria; daughters, Tammera Green (Anthony Collins), Freeport and Sandra Green, Clute; brother-in-law, Everett Green, Dallas,TX; special friend, Susan Johnson, Clute; 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Andre Thompson, Gary Thompson, Jr., Perry Brown, Terrance Riccard, Jeffrey Fuller, Vincent Kuykendall, Orental Green and Eric Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.

Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas.   There will be viewing on the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. There will be no viewing afterwards.
