Robert George, Jr. "Litto"

Funeral services for Robert George, Jr., 71, of Brazoria will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mount Zion Church in Brazoria with Elder Roland K. Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

He passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Spanish Meadow Nursing and Rehab in Katy, Texas.

He enjoyed talking on the telephone. He would call and check on family and friends. He always had an uplifting word for them. He also enjoyed fishing and horseracing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert, Sr. and Eunice George; brothers, Arthur George, Odis George, Robert Hunter and Kenneth Myles; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben, Sr. and Dorothy Mack.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his loving and devoted wife, Rita George, Brazoria; sons, Arthur George (Stefani), West Columbia and Robert D. George, Richwood; daughter, Tiffany George, Brazoria; brother, Donald George, West Columbia; sisters, Janice George Sam, Rosharon and Lillie George Johnson, Clute; brother-in-law, Ben Mack, Jr., Brazoria; sister-in-law, Florence Kennerson (Margin), Clute; good friends, Clark Woodson and Larry Bryant; 6 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Clark Woodson, Michael Johnican, Donald “Ebo” George, Jamie Tims, Patrick Johnson and Margin Kennerson.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. There will be viewing on the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  There will be no viewing afterward.
