Richard Foster I Obituary

Richard Earl Foster I, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after his third battle with cancer. He was born on April 26, 1942 in Bethel, Ohio to David Kenneth and Nora Ellen Foster.  Both parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sisters Patricia Wright and Barbara Desoto and his brother Gary Foster, the love of his life, Jeanette Wyer, all seven of their children: Aretta (& Lloyd) Lawson, Renea (& Paul) Eubanks, Richard (& Synaca) Foster, Kenneth (& Angela) Foster, Robert Foster Cole, Nora (& Robert) Simons, Victoria (& Travis) Cole, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Richard loved playing the harmonica, singing, tinkering outside in his shop, fishing, gardening and he always enjoyed a good joke.

Richard was a kid at heart, always giggling.   He loved all children as if they were his own.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

A Memorial Service to honor Richard’s life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dixon Funeral Home, 2025 E. Mulberry, Angleton, Texas 77515.
