Raymonte “Monte” Bess

Funeral services for Raymonte “Monte” Bess, 45, of Manvel will be on Saturday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Mount Zion Church, 6437 FM 521, Brazoria with Pastor Gene Johnson officiating and Elder Paul Jones eulogizing.  Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cedar Lake, TX.

He graduated from Sweeny High School in the class of 1990.  His favorite past time was fishing, cooking and traveling, but most importantly, spending time with family and friends

Raymonte is preceeded in death by his Mom; Carolyn, his Grandmother, Ollie, his Great-Grandmother Adnese and his Brother Randy.

Raymonte leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Natasha; children, Dezarre Caldwell, Alisha Bess, Dezra Shaw II, and Jalen Bess; siblings, Felicha Jones, (Paul) Danita Walton (Curtis) LaTangia Burnett, Kindrell Fields, Toni Fields (Willie), Preston Woodard (Gaye), Donna Mack, and Jason Harris.; devoted In-Laws, Mr. Elton “June” & Sherry Preston. He also leaves to cherish is father Randolph Mack and step-father Hallard “Bozo” Fields, sister and brother In-Laws, Larry & Nedra (Pinky) Calvert; nieces and nephews, Tailor (Brandon), Tyler, Kei’Aundre, Myles & Devion; Godchild, Kayden Kyle;  life-long cousins that were like brothers to him; Quenton Bell, (Ursula), Raphaell Partain, Fontroy Holmes, Jehrall  Jackson and Reshard (Shronica) Holmes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Tarik Williams, Gerald Livings, Obinna Akoma, Chris Fisher, Desmond Williams and Jermaine Wiggins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Quenton Bell, Raphaell Partin, Jehrall Jackson, Reshard Holmes, Kei’Aundre Johnson, Dezara Shaw II, Jaylen Bess, Myles Calvert, Devion Livings, Camron Bell, Derrick Ardoin Jr. and TreVon Taylor.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 24, 2017 at Greater Mount Zion Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
