Jesus Quintanilla "Chuey"

Jesus Quintanilla, 60, of Bay City passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Harbor Hospice in Houston, TX, surrounded by Family and Friends.  He was born in Bay City, Texas on November 19, 1957.

Jesus was a carpenter by heart and love. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family, watching his World Champion Houston Astros, barbequing and loved dancing to a great tune and making everyone around him smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Quintanilla and Graciela Torres Perez; sister, Vanessa Perez.

He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Rodriquez (Carlos), Jennifer Villa, all of Bay City, Natalie Blackmon (Corey), Pearland, TX; son, Jesse Lee Quintanilla (Julie), Lake Jackson; sisters, Esther Quintanilla, Bay City; brothers, Ignacio Quintanilla, Jr., Carlos Quintanilla, both of Bay City, Johnny Quintanilla, El Campo, Jose Angel Quintanilla, Rosenberg; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

A Mass will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.  at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Bay City, TX with Monsignor Gerry Cernoch celebrant.  Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
