“Bell”

Isabell Franklin, 57, of Jones Creek passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Twist, Arkansas on July 20, 1960 to Deward and Louada Sims.

“Bell” was a good wife and a wonderful mother and sister.  She was a member of Agape Fellowship Church and enjoyed crabbing and gardening.  She worked as a caregiver providing comfort and care to the many people she provided services to.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Russell Franklin of Jones Creek; sons, Russell Sims (Stephanie) of Katy and Michael Sims of Jones Creek; sisters, Juanita Varner of Kensett, Ark., Betty Sue Pittman of Harrisburg, Ark., Betty Jean Sims of Wynne, Ark and Mary Ann Perry of Missouri; brother, Billy Lee of Missouri; brother-in-law, Lucius Franklin of San Antonio; 5 grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

A wake will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria.  Burial will be on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Gulf Coast Cemetery in Clute, TX.
