Georgia Mae Schonert Cooper, known as Mae, was the wife of Earl Ray Cooper of Brazoria Texas for 58 years. Earl made the move to heaven Dec 3, 2016 even though Mae wanted to go with Earl, God said no. He still had purpose for her here on earth. Well Mae’s job was finished Saturday Jan 20, 2018 at 3:45pm and she was able to join all her family that made the move to heaven a head of her. What a reunion she must have had.
Mae was the third daughter of four girls born to Benny & Louisa Schonert of Clute Texas on March 5, 1944. Some of Mae’s fondest memories where living in Clute on the Old Angleton Road when it used to be considered “in the country”. Mae was proud to be a mother. She and Earl had 5 children. James “Jim” Cooper and wife Betty of Columbia Lakes, Donna Cooper Houston of Heaven, Vincent Cooper of Heaven, Earnest Cooper and wife Irene of Bozeman Mt. and Angela “ Angie” Cooper of Brazoria. Mae leaves behind one sister, Frances and her husband Gerald Wall; 26 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and was expecting her first great, great, grandchild, and many nieces and nephews that will love and miss her dearly.
Memorial Service will be held Jan 27, 2018 at Victory Fellowship Church at 208 Lazy Lane, Brazoria Texas behind South side Buc-ee’s at 1:00 pm.
A pot luck fellowship will be held after the service at the Brazoria Conference Center at 209 N Nevada St. Brazoria.
