Dorothy Carolyn Gibson, 69, of Freeport passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chester County, South Carolina on March 8, 1948 to John and Dorothy Walker.

She was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend in the entire world. She loved computer games, playing dominoes and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Dorothy Walker; brothers, Timothy S. Walker (Smoky), John C. Walker, Jimmy W. Walker and Anthony Brooks Walker.

She leaves to cherish her precious and loving memories; husband of 35 years, Aaron Gibson; son, Anthony Paul Walker and wife Dora of Freeport; daughters, Sybil Curry and husband Scott of Freeport and Stephanie Alvarie Land and husband Wayne of Brazoria; step-daughters, Carla Gibson and Charity Gibson; sisters, Joyce Marie Overcash and husband Scott Andrew of San Antonio, Nancy Lee Sims of South Carolina and Kelly Walker; brother, Casey Walker; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
