Denver James Way, Jr. "Pappy"

Denver James Way, Jr., 71, of Sweeny passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 in Sweeny, Texas. He was born on July 28, 1946 in Snyder, Texas to Denver James Way, Sr. and Wilma May Way.

Denver worked at various occupations throughout his life. He knew Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and looked forward to meeting his mother and dad in heaven when the Lord took him home.

Denver is survived by two children, Denny Way (Denver James Way, III) and wife Crystal of Sweeny and De’Ona Acosta and husband Robert of Killeen. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Way and wife Gay of Sweeny. He also leaves to mourn his passing 11 grandkids, 12 great grandkids, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and many cousins. He will be missed by his family.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria. Memorial service will start at 10:00 a.m. with Jim Way officiating.
