David Lynn Thompson "Tucker"

David Lynn Thompson, 66, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a battle with cancer.

He was born on June 1, 1952 in Bay City, TX to J.O. and Evelyn Thompson.

He loved hunting, fishing and barbecuing for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.O. Thompson, grandparents, Frank & Leddie Valigura, grandmother, Nell Tobeck Thompson Bradford and brother-in-law, Brad Wood.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Thompson of Sweeny; wife, Lola; daughters, Kasey McGee and her children Jayci & Kaleb all of Sweeny, Nikki Thompson and her children Amelia & Graham of Midland, Lauren Thompson Smith and her children Braden, Brody & Brynli of Angleton, Carlee Roche (Chris) and their children Gavin, Kieran, Colby & Megan all of Ramona, CA; brother, Dickie Thompson (Lora) of Markham and their sons Heath (Liz) of Sweeny and Cody (Tonya) of Markham; sister, Leeda Ann Wood of Mission TX and daughter Catherine of Colorado best friend his dog, Petey and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to Dr. Pant and Amed Hospice Team for all their care and concern in our family time of need.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
