Curtis Lee Garza, 37, of West Columbia passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Sweeny Community Hospital. He was born in Killeen, TX on September 27, 1981 to Joyce and Marcus Garza, Jr.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, fishing and dancing. He worked with the Rosharon Volunteer Fire Department and was previously employed at the Department of Corrections-Terrell Unit.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oliver M. and Ruby Garner, Librada and Marcus Garza, Sr.; uncles, Curtis Garner and Charlie Garza.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Lynn Garza, parents, Joyce Garza and Marcus Garza, Jr.; stepsons, James and Colby Weatherly; sister, Luanna Diemert (Jeremiah); brother, Shawn Garza (Stacy); best friend, Noah Marton (Jessica); good friend, Sophia Green (Orlando); and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton with Deacon John Dudley officiating.
