 Funeral services for Anna Senegal Phillips-Thomas, 69 of Spring, Texas will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 4715 Griggs Rd., Houston, TX 77021 with Rev. Robert E. Daniels, Sr. officiant and eulogist. Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.

She passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

She was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Ministers and Deacon Wives Ministry and Sunday School. She worked at Nabisco Bakery and retired after 25 years. She then worked at Houston Intercontinental Airport and retired after14 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Josien and Josephine Senegal; sisters, Theresa, Helen and Sarah and brother, Lee.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her loving and devoted husband, Dread T. Thomas, Jr., Spring; daughter, Yolanda Phillips, Houston; sons, Demetrius Phillips (Velvet) and Reginald Phillips (Kesha) both of Houston and Dread T. Thomas, III; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandkids; sisters, Joyce Senegal Harmon (James), Lena Senegal Lavergne (Rufus) and Catherine Senegal Johnson (Wayne) all of Beaumont and Judy Senegal, Houston; brother, Lee Andrew Senegal (Lillie), Beaumont; aunt, Elrose Giles; sister-in-law, Netty L. Thomas, Houston, host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Phillips, John Phillips, Christropher Phillips, Jason Jones, Clayton Berrote, Reggie Berrote, Jacoby Wayne Johnson and Jeffery Maonson.

Visitation will be the same day of the service from 9:00 a.m. until service time. There will be no viewing afterward.
