Albert Edward Weaver, 77, of Brazoria passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Houston, TX.  He was born August 10, 1940 to Clarence Weaver and Anna Weaver in Freeport, TX.

When he wasn’t in his shop fixing mowers and piddling or at Diamond S drinking coffee with his buddies, he could be found sitting on the back porch drinking coffee or reading a book or face booking and he would never turn down a fishing trip.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Weaver and Anna Catherine Hudgins; brother, Herby Hudgins.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Weaver; sons, Steven Weaver and wife Leah, Lynn Weaver and wife Tammy, David Weaver and wife Tracey, James Weaver and wife Diana; daughters, Melissa “Lisa” Weaver and Medina “Dina” Taylor and husband Chris; good friends, James and Richard McLaren, H.D. Warnke, Curtis Redding, Roy Buchanan and Lloyd Krenek; 17 grandchildren; 7 great Grandchildren and 2 on the way; and host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Columbia Cemetery in West Columbia, TX with Dean Wilke officiating.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the cemetery prior to services.

A special thank you to the nurses at Harbor Hospice.  They were wonderful.
