Funeral services for Annette Woodard, 52 of Alvin, will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at the Church of Christ, Hwy 6 in Alvin, with Brother Kevin Weathers, officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Memorial South Cemetery in Houston, Tx.

She passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Tx.

Annette enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, cooking, playing bingo and she loved listening to music. She was close to her sisters and family and all were lost without each other.

She received a primary and secondary education in the Alvin Independent School District, receiving her GED from Alvin Community College. She was employed at Alvin Independent School District for twenty years.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Diane Johnson and grandparents, Annie & Eliott May and Richard & Edna Peterson.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Myreese Woodard of Friendswood; her father, Robert James Peterson, Sr. (Joyce) of Alvin; mother, Jeanette Peterson of Alvin; step-daughter, Shontice Haynes of Houston, Tx.; brothers, Robert Peterson Jr. (Marie) of Seguin, Robbie Hall (Brandy) of Angleton, and Daryl Cofield of Austin; sisters, Vickie Gamble (Rev. Timothy) of Alvin, Lavern Peterson (Oris Rice) of Dickinson, Jo Ann Addison (Rev. Jessie White) of Alvin, Allegra Hall of Angleton, Donna Alfred (Marcus) of League City and Lynette Atkins (Jack) of Houston; sisters-in-law, Ella Mayberry of Hitchcock, Kathy Carter (James) and Marita Woodard (Carl Hoskins) of Houston; 2 grandchildren, Durnisha Haynes and Diamonique Haynes; 4 Godchildren, Natasha Peterson, Rayona Olison and Ca’Leijha Crawford, Lakira Addison Perez and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Peterson III, Derrick Addison, Patrick Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Moses Johnson Jr. and Tyrone Peterson.

Honorary pallbearers will be William Peterson, Ernest Reed, Oris Rice, Allen Jones, Tre’von Guillory, Nakee Hanks, Rodick Peterson, Trey Crawford, Daryl Cofield, Jerime Johnson, Vernon Addison Jr., Richard Perez, Kendrick Mayberry, Marcellious Kelly Jr., and Zion Cofield.

Wake service will be Friday, June 29, 2012, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the church.
