Funeral services for Kayden Lamont Jones, infant son of Jessica Jones, of Sweeny will be Friday, February 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Sweeny, 207 E. 1st St., Sweeny, TX., with Pastor Gary Higgins, II officiating. Burial will follow at Mims Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.

He died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. Although Kayden was only here for a short time, we feel that he has truly accomplished what God has sent him here to do. He has touched the lives of many including those who never met him. Even though he is gone, we still believe that his death will not be in vain.

Kayden is survived by his mother, grandparents, Jennifer Johnson (Derrick), Sweeny, great grandparents, Willie and Wanda Horton and Robert and Amelia Williams all of Sweeny, Cleve Jones of Houston, aunt, Jayla Johnson, Sweeny uncle, Justin Johnson and Derrian "Doody" Johnson both of Sweeny, great aunts, Michelle Jones (Jessie James) and Brittany Horton both of Sweeny, Courtney Tucker (Tim), Van Vleck, Valeria Jones (Robert), Rosharon and Ramona Tullos, Cleveland, Ohio, great uncles, Jonathan Horton and Roderick Johnson both of Sweeny, Cleveland Jones of Houston, god-parents, Telsa Fisher (Henry), Alvin, Miah Wright and Autumn Higgins of Brazoria, and a host of relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Horton and Justin Johnson.
