Funeral services for Rev. Robert Earl Harrison, 67 of Freeport will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 131 W. 4^th St., Freeport, TX with Dr. J.V. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Eastern Branch Family Cemetery in Freeport, TX.

Robert died Monday, January 23, 2012 at his residence. He served as an associate minister under the direction and leadership of Dr. J.V. Williams. He became the pastor of Eastern Branch Baptist Church where he served faithfully. He graduated from O’Hara Lanier School in Freeport, TX. He attended the University of Texas in Austin until he was drafted into the Armed Services in 1966. He served his country for four years.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Kerry Harrison, mother, Beaulah Mae Price and step-father, George Price.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories, sister, Mary Ella Hall (Thomas) of Los Angeles, California, brother, Clifford Williams (Effie) of Houston, aunts, Arthur Marie Stevens and Henrietta Glass both of Freeport, nieces, Pamela, Rhonda and Brandi, nephews, Jovondi “Joe:, Devin, Marquise “Troy”, Marcell “Marty” and Johnny, III “Trey”, great nieces and nephews, Jovondi, Jr.., LaTroya, Kendric, Kianna, Brittany and Marquise, Jr. “M.J.”, and a host of cousins and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Allen Glass, Kenneth Glass, Alphonse Perry, Ray Perry and Terry Perry and Johnny Freelon, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Clifford Williams, Devin Williams, Marquise Williams, Jovondi Williams, Johnny Freelon, III and Marcell Williams.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
